Project Overview:

Pothhala is a premier online bookstore that brings the shelves of Sri Lanka’s favorite bookshops directly to readers around the world. Partnering with WEBS R US PTY LTD, the goal was to create a reliable, user-friendly digital storefront. We delivered a clean, standard WooCommerce e-commerce solution designed to make browsing and purchasing books as seamless as possible. To elevate the user experience, we integrated an interactive digital flipbook, allowing customers to preview pages just like they would in a physical store. Furthermore, the digital platform was extended with a fully functional Android application using WebViewGold, providing an interactive, on-the-go mobile shopping experience.

Strategy:

The strategy centered on simplicity, interactive engagement, and global accessibility, ensuring that whether a customer is in Colombo or living abroad, they can easily find and order their favorite titles:

• Global Reach & Logistics: Configured standard shipping and tax zones to accommodate reliable international delivery, allowing the bookstore to effortlessly serve a worldwide audience.
• Cross-Platform Accessibility: Focused heavily on creating a responsive web foundation that translated perfectly into a dedicated mobile application, capturing the growing mobile reader demographic.
